I don't reccomend these except for species only tanks or sometimes with seahorses, they only eat live brine shrimp, but sometimes will take frozen mysis, they need very low current, at www.seahorse.org they have some good info

Pipefish and Seahorses have special needs. They need a tank by themselves really, low current and something to attach to. Wild caught seahorses needs live food like brine shrimp and feed on the hour. Some new varities of seahorses are available at LFS's or direct from http://www.oceanrider.com
These are feeding on frozen food like mysis shrimp and feed twice daily. Please study on their needs before a purchase. I do have a special fondess for them and had some for a few months. They are delicate critters. I am glad we dont see as many dead ones for sale as I saw when I was a kid. They can be tank raised and hope you do well with them.
