i think you would like the zoas better. xenia can get outta control real quick! there are so many flavors of zoa. just make sure you know the proper way to acclimate it. learn the right way here and not the lfs. they tend to have the float and dump technique. and that is not a good way. make sure its time for your tank, has it cycled? is it mature? do you know what and how to feed them? is the 90 watt light, the proper kind?............what are your water parameter?........

Well, yes, i was thinking about the polyps too, they are cheaper too
My tank has been going for about 3 months, with live rock, coral sand with live sand. It was a clean, fishless cycle, just the way i like it, after a month and a half of the tank running with live rock, etc, i bought one clown fish, and the colt coral some days later. As for as the parameters, i can say they are how they should be, about 0 ammonia, 8.4 pH, 0 nitrite.

nice job! good to see someone that took some time to add stuff. trust me, i have xenia and it is some work keeping it at bay. its pretty and is a great filter but sometimes can be a pia!
if you want to see some nice zoas, go to coralpedia.com, youll love all the choices that are availiable. they are sold as colonies, covering a good piece of lr, or a few polyps. i like the small pieces because you get to watch them take shape and spread across your rock. two things my zoas really like are oyster feast and phyto. also cyclopese is a great source of nutrition for your fish and corals. good luck, and let me know if i can help you. welcome to reefland!

Just take it nice and slow, and stay on top of your water quailty

    Also, I'd start doing bi-weekly 10 - 15 % water changes, with RO/DI water
    Tanks,
