Heat, I would think that lamp would heat that water up so fast.
Yes , i know , this must be a stupid question, but the problem is, i don't know how much light, its too much, so i wan't to know if thats too much light (250W 20K Metal Halide Reef lamp)for a 10 gallon , and if yes, could you tell me whats the max, or min for a 10 gallon? Thank you.

Personally from my knowledge I wouldn't recommend MHs for a 10 gallon tank.
I am sure they have small VHO bulbs for something like that.
I would look up specs on a nano reef tank and match that.
Lighting Options - Nano Reef Articles - Nano-Reef.com
there are some lighting specs
Yeah it shows some smaller spec MH but for sure no way put a standard 250w or even 175w MH on that size tank.
Heck I am using 250w for my new 180 gallon I am building.
What are you putting in the 10 gallon tank?????
That's the place to start from.................

Look for a 2 bulb T-5 HO fixture that will fit the 10 gallon tank, that will be more than you will ever need on a 10 gallon
