Do you wet skim or dry skim, and why?

Do you wet skim or dry skim? Why?

I wet skim if I'm gonna be off work for a couple of days and I dry skim if I have to work. I work 12 hour shifts, 2 days on 2 days off, 3 days on 2 days off, 2 days on 3 days off, then back to the beginning of the rotation. When I work, especially on the 3 day weekend I dry skim because I have less time to devote to the tank. I wet skim when I'm off. The water seems clearer when I wet skim.

Wet skimming pulls more goo, but also requires more water, I wet skim myself, but I'm around the house alot, with you work schedule I keep it the way you have been doing

I wet skim. My skimmate is normally just about black in the collection cup after 3 or more days.
