Not yet, still making water. I am about 90% full.

My new lights will ship on Wednesday so this will keep me from putting life in the tank too soon

julesjt, you know you can't put anything in there till it cycles. Or do we have to have a talk about this again. Besides you might change your mind and go freshwater.

I always see some folks say they added bulbs and they have 8 bulbs and etc. I just want a fixture that has the actinic, brights, and possibly lunars.

I know i know, I still have cloudy water so I just started with a cuple BTAs, Clam and three blue hippos together. I am taking it slow. They wont mind my lights wont be in for a week.

This is just my base rock, I am getting new live rock this week, I am just beginning

hey jules! good luck with getting your live rock. when you are picking it out, try to envision it in your tank and try to pic pieces that will fit together if you know what i mean.....so far so good

i like cheato for the nute export. it grows fast and i think does a great job.every once in a while ill cut a small piece and throw it in for my tangs and they chow down.... you mkight look into mangroves too. ive been thinking of adding one or 2 to mine

Mangroves will work, but not as quickly or as eff.(they are cool to watch grow, but you need a kagillion of them) as the cheato will, hec, do both

well it is not the biggest area for a fuge so whatever will do the best job is what I want. Plus I am not using miracle mud, just a DSB, do these need rooted?
