My sixline or falco hawkfish would leave a cleaner shrimp alone? :eek3:

Sounds risky...
Saltwater Aquarium Fish for Marine Aquariums: Falco Hawkfish
You may hear some people who have had luck, but in general I think it's best not to trust hawkfish with smaller tankmates.A 30 gallon or larger aquarium with plenty of hiding places is acceptable for this hardy and aggressive fish. It should not be kept with larger more aggressive hawkfish. Although it eats small fish and shrimp, with caution, it can make an excellent reef inhabitant.
At least one cleaner shrimp death by falco mentioned here:
Falco Hawkfish, Dwarf Hawkfish, Cirrhitichthys falco
ahh that bites. Yeah Ive read its a 50/50 chance although both my falco and sixline are pretty docile. I dont know if its worth a 20 dollar snack, but of course the guy at the LFS keeps telling me my fish will recognize a cleaner shrimp and wont eat it.![]()
I have a Six Line Wrasse and a Cleaner Shrimp and there's no problem.I have also had a couple of different Hawfish with Peppermint and Camelback Shrimp in a FOWLR with no problems but not a Falco Hawkfish. If you decide to get one, don't get a small one it should be ok.
