what do I do with a 1.5 gallon tank?

I have an old 1.5 gallon tank just sitting around. What do I do with it? The wife wants a betta fish. I don't know about that. I'd like to stick to salt.

I have a copepod in my tank that isn't getting along with the others. I'd be willing to part with him for cheap. ;)

Seriously though, what kind of filtration do you have? How big is your protein skimmer? Does it have a refugium? How many powerheads?

Seriously though, what are the dimensions of that tank? The only thing I can imagine is breeding copepods. And you would have to connect it to your main tank somehow. 1.5 gallons standalone would not make for a stable tank.

Let the wife have the betta, other than that it would make a nice paper weight 1.5 gallons is useless except for the 2 above mentioned idea's, JMHO

Hahaha, I love those answers. Actually I was thinking on an amphipod tank. I just thought I'd post it to see what kind of response I got, but I do have a 1.5 gallon tank. Maybe if she gets a betta she'll get off my back about my tank. On a side note, I got her a cat because she said that if I let her have one she would never complain about my tank again. What happened to that deal?

You could use it to propagate brine shrimp to feed your fish when you get a larger tank. Maybe a snail breeding tank?
