    Your not getting more flow it is just concentrated. I have noticed that myself.

    Next water change I will finish removing the large sand, level whats left of the sugar sand and then rework the ph's and see how it goes.

    So I have no patience and decided that it would be o.k. to run my sump at a slightly lower level until the weekend, I went and removed 90% of the large grain sand and evened out the rest decently. Moved my 1400 to the right pane towrads the back and have that blowing in a circle around the sand/base of rocks essentially. The 1050 is still in the middle next to the overflow up top. I have that pushing to the opposite front corner and towards the surface.
    See how it looks after 6-12 hours.

    I don't know if you would like the looks, but you could place them on opposite sides one up front and one in the rear. That would give you a circular flow around your rock formation. Something like this.
