Can you have to much live rock?

    Is this to much?
Reef keeping is one of the only endeavors that going slow is actually faster.

No, it's not too much. Don't change a thing it looks very good seriously. I was concerned about the same thing and called the manufacturer Aqueon about my 50g because I planned on using 100lb of LR and having a 5"DSB. He said the bottom is tempered glass and you could fill it to the top with rock or sand and it would be fine. Sand actually has the same weight by volume (very close) as water. The only thing you might worry about is having too much weight in one spot creating a pressure point, but I think you will be fine.

I agree with Steve the only thing I've found is that when it comes to live rock I get annoyed if the glass isnt "CLEAN" so if your rock is too close to where you can't use your magnet to clean it can start to drive you a little but I like your look you put together there. Keep up the good work

    +1.

I'm with fishguy, I must be able to clean at least the front and sides. I don't even touch the back let the coralline have it. So I keep my LR back about 1" on the front and sides. I keep my LR back about 3" on the back not for cleaning but for good circulation.
