I found a larger tube made of sand.

Check it out with just the actinics on, half an hour or more after the regular bright lights have gone off. See if you see any feeding tentacles. You're looking to see if you see something that looks like a couple of white, very fine and wispy threads, perhaps three or four inches long, sort of waving in the "breeze."

Anyway, whether they're polychates or vermetids, they're harmless.

Can't be ants, I don't see any scuba gear they took off before entering the tube.
