    Blue Australian oulophyllia placement ?

    Hey Everyone,
After 14 months of having my 65 gallon tank set up and running with fish and a bubble tip anemone for the last two months, I finally bought some coral frags for the tank. I purchased a oulophyllia frag because everything I read said it was a good beginner coral. It is about 2-3 inches in diameter and the base has been cut like a wedge which makes it easy to place into some of the cracks in my live rock. However looking at fully grown oulophyllia I am not sure if this is the correct placement. It appears they grow into a sphere. Should I be placing it on a flat spot on the rock, and should I glue it down? Any suggestions?

It is fine where you put it. As new growth forms it will grow outwards and form somewhat spherical shape. It will take quite some time, though.
    Kind regards,

    Gene.
