    Snail questions/ suggestions

I have a 29 gallon tank and have hair algae slowly taking over.

    I currently have : 2 trouchus snails
    2 cerith snails
    6 nassarius snails
    2 scarlet hermit crabs

I'm looking for some snails that will eat hair algae, hang out during the day, and are very efficient. I plan on getting an emerald crab in the future. any suggestions would be much appreciated.

I had a sally lightfoot crab that ate quite a bit of my hair algae after my tank cycled.

I'll do a little research on the sally lightfoot, but I'm gonna try and stay away from any more crabs (besides the emerald), Because they're known to eat snails. I have a feeling trochus are the most efficient, but i thought I'd ask around.

Try a PhosBan 150 reactor. I have one on my 29 and it works well.

Astrea snails are great for cleaing up on the glass. I think you should add about another 6 hermits, 8 astrea snails, the nassarius are primarily carnivores, you can also look at conch's, cowries, urchins, but I would add more to your cleanup crew imo
