    Re: Newbie 90 gallon build

A little update on my tank. I added some green palys, a candy cane, some green star polyps, kenya trees, torch coral, and a nice hammer coral. Everything seems to be happy! I do have a little algae on one rock to the right. I think I'll take it out and scrub it.

    The hammer-

hammer, torch, and kenya trees from Neptune in Milpitas. Other stuff from Dolphin. I'm not going back to Dolphin. Neptune is awsome.

    New sump I built

I was showing it in the DIY section too (if you want to see how I did it), but I think I'm done with that thread. Here is the finished product.

    Still going good

Just an update since I haven't posted for a while. I added an Acan, ricordia, birdsnest (not sure where to glue it), plate, and an acropora. Everyone is happy. No major algae issues, just a little HA on my hydor. I'm ready for some more fish, but I'm a little afraid of my orchid dottiebacks being bullies.
I added a Tunze osmilator ATO. It failed in two days. The sensor was not sealed at all from the factory. They were very surprised (Germans don't think they make mistakes, ever), but they are sending a new one right away.

That sux to hear about the ATO. Hopefully the new one works out much better. Nice looking adds you got there. The brain looks great! Like the acans too. I've been holding out for some rainbow acans. Dottybacks can be mean little suckers, from what I hear.

    Great looking reef Brian!
Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the precipitate.

The early bird gets the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.

    new ATO

Tunze sent the new ATO. It works good so far. The sensor is sealed on this one. It was definately the problem. They responded very fast- +1 for Tunze!

I think the neon Dotties are really mean. I believe these are ORA orchids, maybe a little nicer. We'll see.
