Bubble coral , and elegance coral question

hi i have a bubble coral that was not doing anything not even opening for about 4 months now it has opened back up a bit bigger each day but seems to be higher up on the skeleton and just the center seems to be alive again is this common or bubble corals ? i also recently got a elegance coral frag and it dosent look to hot i had it on the top for a few days just moved it to the bottom its tentacles are barely visible and it looks kinda stubby but not expanded so what can be done to improve its health . and while im at it i have a long tentacle anenome that decided it was going to atach itslef under a rock it still opens up nice and big most of the time and somehow gets to the light but should i leave it there or move it ?( my cinamin clowns only leave it to tell the perculas they are geting to close lol) . my lighting is a 48 " compact florecent light ( 4 bulbs 2 10k 2 actinics) and 4 moonlights ( 2 went out and cant find them anywhere 2 work) my calcium is high around 500 i think all other parameters seem to check out and i have a torch coral that is doing fine and a few types of leathers

Re: Bubble coral , and elegance coral question

just wanted to update this a bit the elegance coral has all but disapeared so im thinking ill pull it in a few days but i was still curious of my buble coral it opens but only in the center of the coral im not sure if it is slowly regrowing or if it grew ontop of the old skeleton im just wondering if anyone else had ever had a coral regrow after it seemed to be dead it had some red alagee growing on it for a bit but used red slime remover and it receded mostly and just see a bit of red but the skeleton is still redish . also i was curious i got a few zoa's and 1 colony is doing good but another colony is all but shrivled to a few polyps the only thing i can guess is diferent is the dying colony is on what seems to be a long dead acropora skeleton

Cool Re: Bubble coral , and elegance coral question

Hi Jessie. Have you ever used any kind of dip ? I use Seachem Reef dip and it has done wonders for my corals. I dip everything before putting it in my tank now. I also had a sick Bubble Coral and after dipping it it has come to life much more. There are several brands out there. It may help your Elegance and Bubble. Just a thought..........
