Anemone Splitting/Reproducing

I had a Rose Bubble Tip anemone split 3 times into like 'clones' of the original. Then I found miniature pinkish ones (2). For a total of 4 anemones in my 75. (I took out 3 of them and traded in at LFS)

So do anemones split and reproduce? The new smaller ones are only about an 1".5 whereas the 'cloned' ones were like 4".

RBTA's are know to split/multiply quickly in reef aquariums. This can lead to problems for your other corals as the nems wander. You might want to consider keeping a seperate nem grow out tank, and move the clones to it as the mother splits. Once the clones become healthy/big enough, trade them/sell them to your LFS. Could be a decent way to subsidize maintenance costs on your main tank.
