i think i have seen them called purple heads that is a nice looking fish . its posible its just from a different area then the less coloredd ones

Just got these two guys not too long ago. "Firefish Gobies" is what they were labeled as. They were $12 each, not too expensive. Not as colorful as the one in your pic., but i think they're cool looking.

They're just called fire fish. Peaceful, but slightly nippy with other fire fish.

My firefish pretty much hide all day long. I have a yellow-tail damsel that been in the tank for about 5 yrs and just bullies them into hiding.
BTW they are actually more colorful than my pics portray. yellow parts on head with purple dots. Hopefully they'll come out more often as they get more comfy in the DT.JOE
