    sand coarse of fine

    well im now looking at sand which is better coarse or fine or does it really matter

    hi paul wh ; I like the look of the oolitic sand in contrast to the live rock and if you decide that you want some wrasse that buries itself at night or a sand sifting diamond head goby or a pearly headed jawfish . This way you already have the right sand for them and their is more surface area for good critters and bacteria to grow in and on... ZHappy Reefing!!!!!

    Hey Paul, I went with the fine (want jawfish) but i had course argonite already and just added the 2 together (jawfish need some bigger stuff to make a burrow). Not sure if it reallly matters a whole lot some will say it does but honestly i doubt it. Good luck with it.
