What is this thning?

Tank is 5 days new then this thing came out of the live rock. The only thing I can find it looks like is a feather worm? Dont know what it is. Can anyone identify it? There are no fish I am cycling the tank with live rock and now this is alive? Should I remove it or let it live? Thanks for any replies.

hi, its a feather duster.. harmless. leave it there.. it comes out of a tube and goes back inside. its definitely alive cause its feathers are outside the tube...

Yup... Featherduster. they're actually good for the system. They filter the water for food.

Yea they're actually pretty beautiful. I got a 1lb peice of live rock once simply because it had like 7 of those on it. They're growing a bit and getting even prettier.
