anemonefish and their surragate hosts...

I know anemone fish or false percula fish takes a bta as a surragate host but would they adapt to feeding there host? My anemonefish hosted it already but only sleeps on it at night.. my anemonefish was tank bred and will not feed its host I read the article on how teaching but I don't seem to get it..

I wouldn't depend on your fish to feed your nem. Unless I'm mistaken, its only a theory that clown fish feed their nem. Its just as possible that they are stockpiling their food in the host anemone for themselves. My clowns do it on occasion and when they do, they usually go back and eat the food, sometimes directly from the nems mouth.
