I'm Back! New Build 90 gallon Cube!

    Hello Everyone,

My name is Martin and I live in Brighton, Co(North Denver.) I have been out of the reef hobbie for about a year, "sorta." As some of you my know I had a 300 gallon cube that crashed while in my brother's care and I was out of the country. I got the tank back up and going when three months later I had a bulkhead fail and ended up with 200+ gallon of salt water on the floor. Lets just say to keep the wife happy I sold every thing but my 45gallon qt tank and set it up with my 17 year old tomato clown (That I still have) and a royal gramma in it. I also keep a few blastos and a acan lord. And some equipment from the 300 gallon that I did not want to respend the money on, since I knew that I was going to be back at some point.

So here is my plan. I have built a 90 gallon 25"x25"x32" 86.6 gallons to be exact cube out of acrylic with external overfow and custom built 23"x23"x14" 30 gallon acrylic sump. I have built my own stand out of cheery and hemlock wood. (pictures on the fabrication to come.) This tank will be a mixed lps and sps reef with sps and zoas that dominate. all sps will be toward the upper third of the tank since it will be lite by two ALL LED evolution kits. Evolution LED Light 120w 1G [14K] : REEFKOI CORALS, SPS, LPS, Zoanthids
The tank will also have a ASM3GX Skimmer. ASM G-3 Protein Skimmer* - AquaCave
I also will be using a Level LOC auto top off. YouTube - Level Loc Aquarium Auto Top Off System Demo - Bulk Reef Supply To keep maintenance so what easy. The tank is drilled with five bulkheads for a closed loop ran by a Reeflo snapper pump. ReeFlo External Pump

This just gives you a small idea of what I have been doing and planning. Ill get pictures on here very soon. (I have Tons!)

    Martin

Welcome back Martin! Man! 300 gallons on the floor? That must have been real fun! Looking forward to the new build.
