HelloI was wondering the opinions on my aquarium set up. I have a 30 gallon tank running a fluval 404 and a remora pro skimmer. The water flow goes into the fluval and out to the remora pro skimmer, pouring back into the aquarium. The fluval is full of crushed and chunks of live rock. The remora pro had a little bit too, it reduced the bubbles returning to the tank, chiller,light (old so i have to switch out the bulbs), live rock. No fish yet. Is my method of running the fluval into the remora bad? I did it in the past but...

the only problem i could see is the fluval holding nutrients on the longrun.. never done it soo i cant tell you from experince. what are you planning to do with the tank? fish only? reef?

I'm going for live rock and its dwellers...the remora flows good down the middle of the tank. I probably should add an extra powerhead. I like the one that moves back and forth on its own.
