Fungus???

We have had our aquarium for 2 years. And recently we have this its like this fungus growing around our corals. Its white and soft. There is a little cone shape in the middle of it all. It seems to be spreading to different rocks. Its over growing the corals. The one its on the most is galaxia. There is also a small cone white soft fungus like on our star polp rock. Any thoughts to what this is and what to do about it?? We tried scratching it off but it seems to be coming right back???

Its a white and milky. Looks like a sea cone of some sort. Its gelatinous. Almost sponge like.

Your description makes it sound like a tunicate, but you would only get those in dark areas of the tank.

Its simliar to the tunicate but its got a hole in the middle. same color that milky white but with a hole. it spreads all around the coral inbetween and what not but joins at a rised cone hole.
