Hello all,
New to the whole salt thing. I live in Hawaii and think that gives me pretty good access to local, fresh resources (we'll see).
I've had fresh for many years...Just purchased a Fluval Edge 6 gal tank (I am very aware of it's size restrictions) that I want to turn into a salt tank. For now it will stay in the box, for I want to get as prepared and plan as much as possible before I begin.
It is very architecturally pleasing and the size works for the situation that I have.
I know that education is to be the key to success in this situation. Any advice, other than what I have read and will read, is greatly appreciated. You guys are the experts in my eyes!
Thanks for this forum!
Gianni

looks like thats what you want to do. I find the hardest thing is picking what you would like in your tank. small place small amount you can put in. Up side you can grown until it gets to big and pass it on to someone with a bigger tank.(coral wise) Do a journal it is the best thing for a nano. start with doing daily water test while you are cycle to get a handle on reading the test right and where the point of bad starts.. I can tell when its getting close to a water change by my journal and if it should be sooner. Good luck man should be pretty cool to do and for me to see when you post
