    Can you identify my anenome?

Hey guys, well i was at my local fish store to get water and only water, but i came across this, he said every 4-5 months he gets a small shipment of REALLY exotic stuff from another supplier. I believe he said it was from Bali. It was just so vibrant i couldnt pass it up, especially for 55 dollars. Id say when its fully opened its a lil over 10 inches across i checked sites such as liveaquaria.com to see if i can match it, i cant find one that matches, or even any that come in pink for that matter. So Ive had him for 2 1/2 days now, hes seems to be doing fine, i got a 550Watt light setup and a 72 gal bowfront with 20 gal sump. can anybody tell me how to properly take care of this anenome or if it is fragile, or hardy, or any info on it. he said its a medium difficulty anenome to take care of.

Also he had a flower pot coral the size of a tennis ball, it was a vibrant neon yellow for 35 dollars, if he has it this weekend i might get that as well. he said that the flower pot enjoys high nitrites. without a pic i know its hard to identify without a pic but can anybody supply any info on this as well.

    Thanks everybody!

    Hello,
Most likely it has been dyed and the color will fade over the next few months if it survives. Heteractis crispa are the most commonly dyed species. Bright yellow is another color that indicates a dyed anemone. Raw shrimp from the store is a good food for H. crispa along with moderate light and flow.

Goniopora corals are very difficult to care for and have a very low survival rate in the home aquarium. The red variety does the best. Oyster Feast by Reed Maraculture is a good food for Goniopora species.

dang so he/she wont last pink? that is some unhappy news, i hope it lasts for a while at least pink, but i hope it lasts alive the most of all. does it hurt it to dye it? if it began to fade would it be ok to redye it or is it something that is not recommended. i had never seen one so pink and i guess that explains it, but do you think there is any chance it could stay that colour?

    Hello,
It is not a healthy practice to dye them as it can interfere with the Zooxanthellae in their tissue.

I didn't even know that it's possible to dye an anemone? I don't plan to do it, but am I allowed to ask how it would work?
The pink color is intriguing and a real eye catcher therefore I totally understand that you want it to stay in this way.

I thought of ordering some plants online with using a delivery flowers service , since I have no local retailer at my place. I'm not sure if there exist some good shops which have good offers?

They use food coloring and soak them for a couple of days in it.
