Some of you may have seen my other post about help to identify my anemone. Recentley it has been acting what i believe is odd. It was identified as a sebae anemone. It has lost alot of its hot pink colour and its tips are white since i was told it was dyed, and it has relocated from original position. That was expected though, but over the past couple days it closes up in the morning. around 11am it shrivels up and shrinks and looks as if it wasnt doing to well. while its shriveled it expels off a extremley slimy and goowee laminant that is a dull dirty pink. then later when i turn my lights off around 6 it will begin to slowly reopen within the hour and open to full size. could somebody explain why it may be doing this? also, i have not been able to feed him over the past week and a half ive had him, his tentacles are not sticky and he will not grab anything i try to feed it.
