What I have done-In the past 3weeks. I have slowly moved the SG down to 1.024 where it should be from 1.029 thanks goodness. I took my time to do this not to loss any more in the tank. I haven't done to much cleaning not to stress the tank out and in hopes to bring back my pods population. This week I added a bottle of Tiggpods to help that a long. this though has let the hairA out of hand but with (Chis Thread I will be doing the same to get ride of it) Thanks Chris I plan on placing the feather Duster back in this week-end he has hated the bucket but that's life.

My life left in the tank my green started polyps have made it. last week they came back out of there rock yeah I tiered up a little bit. great moment for me. Two of my Blue mushrooms that I took out made it okay in the bucket. They where inside out there off and on for a week or so but they made it tough little guys. My Xenia i left in the tank and was the only thing that didn't seem to mind the swing odd i know. but it is in the most flow in the tank. I feel like that the only reason to it. but just happy it didn't die. it has grown in some.

That's all I have now but I do well with loss and will move on with my head up. It will be a month before i get new stuff I wont feel safe if i don't wait it out as long as I can. Lastly my levels
    ph 8.2
    PO4 0.0
    NO2 0.0
    Ca 400
    KH 8
    NH4 0.0
    NO3 2.5
Good to hear. Looks like the road to recovery is in mid swing. I would try keeping the salinity around 1.024/25 for a bit...even after things pick back up. .1.029 is a little high, IMO and the closer to natural levels after the crash, the better.

I'm glad to hear that it wasn't a total loss and things are getting back on track. I'll hit you up again in a few weeks about trading frags for culinary arts. Do you have a favorite genre/region you like to cook?

Mad Mead, I have a load of Colt Coral frags I keep tossing in the garbage. If you PM me your address I will send the next batch to you. And don't worry about shipping - I'll pay it.

I just want to say, that its an amazing thing that our little community here (hopefully I'm not overbearing in saying this) looks out for another. Just willing to send frags to help a fellow reefer out in times of need. Thanks for letting me a part of it.

Also, Good to hear the tank is on its way back to life! I wish I could contribute something but alas my tank is only beginning to grow!

first I have to say how great it is to have you guys here at reefland. Everyone here is helpful and just so nice. No NoobSalt your not being overbearing. Everyone here is looking out for another.

fin I love about every type of food there is out there and will try any cooking method out. So you think I'll cook it. now if I haven't made it before I will let you know right now if I don't think its good enough you wont be eating it till it is great.

chris that would be awesome. Stop tossing frags in the garbage I'll doing jumping jacks for frags. Or food just like I afford to fin.

    thanks again every one

Agreed! haha. And I only live in Boston. I grew up in DC and I love NY. So excited for the NFL and the NY Giants (off topic I know but I'm just so happy about an NFL season!)

Re: Good to be in June ( the up date)

So I haven't been on for a while got bad news with my leg and being able to go back to work or not. well its a NOT. No more working while standing. new job new life back to school. i'm to old for this shit.... what dose one do? if what your great at, you are no longer aloud to do? what then?
Oh that enough of my pity party.

The little green tank is not so much green with Ahair, for joy on that being accomplished. i have moved all my rock around looking for one very large Bworm!! huge I tell you HUGE. The tank hasn't looked this nice well since may or June. loads better since the crash. Thanks to everyone here on ReefLand. I'll try to post some pic.

Would like to say a big thanks to Chris. For the fuge and mico. I had to rise my hood to get it fit the tank but it works. Thanks again Chris. Sorry i didn't tell you sooner.

Re: Good to be in June ( the up date)

How big is your tank? If the blenny outgrows the tank, you could try a clown goby. They're 1 1/2" full size and peaceful. A bit skittish though. You could try sexy (AKA dancing) anemone shrimp which also stay small, and if your sand is over 1" deep, you could try sand or narcissus snails-clean like hermits, but none of the disadvantages. Never kept those shrimp, but have heard that they may nip coral.

Re: Good to be in June ( the up date)

I have a small tank 7.5gal. bio colored blenny is getting big. My LF lets me bring back the fish when they get to big. hes my second fish I have had in ow going on 8 mths. the first was a scooter. they grow up fast. i like getting tinny little guys and watch them get big and then say good by and get a new guy. Same with my snails and hermits. There very nice to give me full price for every thing I bring back. i have a 2 to 2 1/2 sand bed it depends on where you look in the tank. I'm thinking at the end of this mth. Norbrut we'll have to go back to LF. not sure what I will get next? thanks for the idea

Glad to see your tank is doing better than ever Mad Mead and I'm so sorry to hear about your leg preventing you from continuing your career. I'm sure a new path will present itself and you'll be as happy as ever. Life tends to always find a way to work itself out.
