    coral regeneration?

hey all, well i was curious about how long it takes for coral to regenerate tentacles. for example, my bubble coral was attacked by my peppermint shimp about a week ago and alot of the bubbles were torn off (currentley was relocated to my fathers tank), was wondering how well bubble coral regenerate. then today i saw my emerald crab rip off a few tentacles from my frogspawn and was wondering how long before that would be back to 100% as well.
    thanks all

    Re: coral regeneration?

They probably won't if you don't remove the predators.
Frogspawn is fairly hardy IME, so a few tentacles is not a big deal, they'll most likely grow back if you remove the crab.
The bubble I'm not sure about.
Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the precipitate.

The early bird gets the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.

    Re: coral regeneration?

    Hello,
Most LPS corals can regenerate within a few weeks if conditions are good. I have cut Bubble corals into many pieces and the cut areas have healed in a week.
