ok i have 2 feather dusters one is huge an the other is small well the small one clin=mb out of its tube an has been living in the sanf for like 2 months an was rebulding its tube well for some reason today my nassurias snails attacked it an pulled his crown off an was eating..why would they do this he seems fine not hanging out or anything im kinda upset cause he had a hot pink an whit crown it was cool how long will it take it to grow back

The tube is essentially a calcium cocoon. Although it depends on calcification rate and such, it can happen in as quickly as a few days. The feather may take a little longer. HTH

Funny that you just posted this. The same thing happend to one of my two large dusters about a week ago. I noticed the crown was completely off. Yesterday was the first day I noticed the crown emerging from the tube. So for me it took about 5 days. However the crown is much smaller now than it had been.

Ok thanks but did your snails pull the crown off like mine did

I dint really know why the crown came...I came home from work and just saw it in one of my caves.
