Over the past two days I have had to make some changes to my tank based on the rate that things are growing. After researching stinging, coral placement and proximity, chemical warfare and imbalance and the age old question, "is it time to upgrade yet" I rearranged about 1/5 of my tank. My hairy mushroom picked a fight with my ricordea AND my candy canes. That and my toadstool is getting enormous. So much for the 11 dollar 'pinhead' I bought about 5 months ago. Enough rambling. This is the first time I have had to do this. Is it commonplace, or did I just set a course to crash my tank? Everything I touched looks noticeable angry and I swear my open brain coral tried to bite me ;). Thx all.

I did the same thing about 2 months ago to give my torch coral room to grow. I had no casualties. Everything seemed to go back to normal a day or two after all the movement.

Thx KM/James...My goniopora seems the most disenfranchised with the way management is running things. He's sulky and downright bitter. All the research I have done on these buggers leads me to believe he's dying; they're such hard corals to keep, I have read that people call them rent-a-corals. Oh well.
