As I'm sure you've already observed, anemonefish can be aggressive when it comes to guarding their territory, some species more than others. Maroons and tomatoes certainly have that reputation.

Sounds like you may have perculas or Occelaris though...can you confirm? In a large enough tank, they'd probably pair up and claim separate ends of the tank. A 3' tank might be kind of iffy though...they're bound to get in eachothers way.

As far as anemones, that's a tall tank, so just make sure there is adequate rockwork so they can perch higher in the tank and get their light. Unless you are running 400w halides, you probably have very little PAR near the bottom.

Hi at anti reef. I don't think your tank is big enough to house 2 pair of clowns. They'll probably end up fighting. Only much larger tanks can house multiple clownfish pairs.

    Re: two pairs of clowns

With the amount of live rock you have, I'd say you're maxed out or even a little overstocked. You're system could handle a larger bioload if you added another 20kg or so of live rock. Can you give us some more information about your system (equipment used, age of the tank, if a sump or refugium is being used, how deep of a sand bed etc...). Also what's your water change schedule (how much and how often). Pictures would be good too.
