Fantastic!! I see they like the Toadstool better than the Anemone.![]()
the Ocellaris have only just started to host it a week ago the male though keeps looking at the female thinking whats she doing/what shall i do. but the humbug keeps scaring him off everytime he goes to the toadstool. time to get rid i think.... thinking of a nem for the two bigger clowns maybe not sure yet. its says the best for them type of clowns is carpet nem or summit that dont look very nice. what would be anyones reccomendations thats if i can squeeze another in that is...![]()
Hi atlanticreef,
Looking at the anemone that you already have it appears to be a Condylactis anemone, not a host anemone and hence why your clownfish is staying away from it. If you planning on adding another anemone I would recomend to remove your Condy anemone first, then add one that would be a natural host to your clownfish species.
Check out this online article for more information: Anemone fishes and their host sea anemones
Kind regards,
Gene.

Thanks for the reply. I no longer have the nem. I came back from working away to find the nem stuck in my inlet pipe for my filter unfortunately it did not survive so a proper nem for my clowns is on the cards.
Looks good! Whats the coral in the last picture of the first post? (with the green on the tips?)
