Hey guys, after a 4 year hiatus from the hobby, due to doing a marine biology degree, i am back. Luckily when i went to uni i kept all my stuff in storage.

So here is a pic of what i been doing the last few days and a list of equipment.

2x1x1 braceless tank
150w MH @ 10k + 18w of actinic, Giesemann System 230 Plus pendant.
Red Sea Prizm Skimmer
50w Jager heater
400lph power head.



I plan on keeping 2 percs and a BTA, plus clean up crew (no shrimp) with about 5kgs of live rock and a 1" sand bed.

Ill be using Red Sea Coral Pro Salt, with R/O water, doing 10lt a month water changes.

Skimmer will only be on when lights are on, and the 400lph pump will be on 24/7.

Depending on what the phosphate/nitrate level is after a its all settled in ill be investing in a ClearTides mini reactor and fluidise some phosphate/carbon media.
