    Buying a used aquarium

If I buy a used aquarium, is there any kind of pristine cleaning I need to do of the glass before I use it for my Reef tank?

clean er up with venegar and water. You could buff the glass if you wanted to though.

Just be sure to rinse and dry it well before using it. I use vinegar to clean my equipment all the time.

Nope. Some people even dose their tanks w/ vinegar to reduce nitrates / phosphates...like vodka dosing. And they get better results (no cyano) over the long haul
