Yes REefing Madness i know that the tang is not suppose to be in a 30 gallon long but the fish store and me have a sort of deal that i raise the sialfin in my tang for 3 months and i return it and get a small one again.

Goniopora or flower pot corals are intensely difficult to keep. I found out the hard way. They are really for the most expert of hobbyists. Actually, they're best kept in the ocean, based off of all the research I did. Here is a good article: The Care and Propagation of Goniopora by Justin Credabel - Reefkeeping.com I had one myself and they require pristine water conditions of which, there is a slim chance you will achieve with a tank that small, with that many fish. Also - IMO, the Flame Hawk is a poor choice. Basically, you just put your clean up crew on notice. They're known to eat shrimp, hermit crabs and snails and can be notoriously picky eaters. Don't be surprised if your CUC is missing one day, and the Flame Hawk fatter.

Is that what that is in the 4th pic? A Flower Pot. Missed that one. Gotta spot feed those, they look really cool when you get them going though.

Phyto. Again, this coral will most likely die in time. I went through a lot to realize it was a battle I was not going to win. I would take it back if I were you and get something that will make it through.

Their life span? Ummm... tough to say my friend. They just don't do well in captivity for some reason. Do some research and you'll see.

Best in this hobby to research first, buy later.

    Best of luck !

Hmmmmm. A pretty cool coral. Snce the Fonzie Coral is real rare, may I suggest a branching hammer or some candy canes? They are pretty cool looking and are fairly easy to take care of. The candy cane requires moderate light and flow and the hammer moderate light and low flow. The candy cane is basically a middle of the tank coral with a bright yellow color. The hammer is a sand bed dweller and can range from deep green to almost yellow. I am not a big SPS fan so if you are looking to do those maybe someone like Reefing Madness can suggest a few for u. Good luck!

thanks guys ill be sure to look for those corals next time. I also have a proble: I had two clownfish before and they died so i thought it was just thatthey were sick but when i pulled them out they had there bellies cut up. So i went to school today and came back and saw both new nemos swimming ok and when i go to the computer and come back i find my emerald crab eating one clownfish. Are emerald crabs that vicous? i thought they just ate algea. How can i catch them?

IMO, crabs have no business in a contained reef tank.Again, that's just my opinion and I am willing to bet many would differ on that.

I don't understand. Larger fish don't mean bullies as my tiger barb used to shove around my baby green spotted puffers! I thought the problem was with the Emerald Crab. I would get rid of that. Emerald Crabs may pick at your corals. I would also ditch the hawk fish. As I stated last night, you put your CUC on notice when you put a fish like that in your tank.

A 30 gallon is a small tank. Despite your fuge and increased water volume, you still have a territory issue. I would like to think two clowns and another docile fish are enough, but if you look at my tank you will realize I blew past that advice. It's really about what works well for the tank. I can't recommend b/c every tank and every fish are different.

    GL!

I don't know, I 've got 3 Emerald Crabs, they don't touch my corals at all.
