    Best clean up crew?

My 100g reef is getting infested with hair/nuisance algae and diatoms! I got a sea hare about 2 days ago and he is doing WORK. I am going to pick another sea hare up for my other LR island later but I need something to clean up the substrate. My substrate is 3 inches thick and all the hair algae and diatoms grow like crazy on it. I have 5 huge turbo snails already but it looks like they cant crawl on sand like my margaritas. I am thinking bout the Scarlet Reef Hermit Crab and the Dwarf Zebra Hermit Crab for picking up the hair algae that gets stuck in the substrate. Also, are Nassarius snails good at picking at my problem? Cerith? please no snails that keep falling upside down and cannot upright itself like astrea, margerita, etc.

100g tank I would suggest at least 20 Turbo Snails
    20 NAss Snails
if your going Scarlet Reef Hermits, I'd go with 20 of those also.
Bumble Bee Snails are great and live quite long. 20 of those
You get enough in the tank and your not going have to worry about anything about cleaning, besides the glass
    20 Super Tonga Snail.
    That should cover you.

    Re: Best clean up crew?

Actually, my 1 sea hare, 5 large turbos, 10 hermits, and 2 margaritas are doing magggggnificentt in my 100g. the large turbos stripped clean a 15 lb rock in 1 day. the sea hare stripped clean a 50 lb LR island. can't really tell how much margaritas help because they are like half and inch.. ha! the 10 hermits are also really good on the sandbed and lower LR. I may need to get more hermits or something, the sea hare takes the hugest deuces ever. period. maybe super tong nass snails will help even more on the sand
