Thinking about getting seachem Iodide for my reef. i dont have a test kit for iodide, but I will be dosing less than the directions recommend. for example, directions say 5mL to every 50 gallons every other day. I will be dosing my 100 gal reef 5mL every 3 days. does miracle mud replenish iodide so that i do not need to dose it? if so, then i will just get mm.

How do you know your tank needs this if you haven't tested for it? I would recommend not throwing anything into the tank unless you can test for it. And unless you are fully stocked with Corals and Live Rock, how do you know how much is needed or not needed? To many ifs if it were my tank.
