Wild Caught Food

I live by the beach and throughout most of the year we see an onslaught of srgassum weed filled with little tasty tidbits. Could i dump some of these baby shrimp into my tank as food for whoever may want to eat them? Also, these shrimp are about 5 mm long and about 3/4 mm thick. Do you think a Mandarin might find them tantalizing?

The Mandarin will most likely not eat these but they will not be harmful to your tank. They will help eat leftover food. I tried a bunch of them years ago in an experiment to see if they would eat flatworms or nuisance anemones. They did neither
