Three Banded Butterfly feeding dilemma

Just got a Three Banded Butterfly

People are saying now. That he only will eat food that naturally is found on the live rock where it naturally forages.

They seem to be right. He just pecks on the rock and ignores food in the water.

Does anyone know if worms of some sort that I see in the fresh water and reptile dept. would be suitable to feed marine fish.

Maybe if I can drop some on my live rock he would go for it

Also. If anyone has any other ideas I'd like to hear them.

Maybe try live brine/mysis or blood worms should be able to find these in you lfs. If you try the live brine or mysis mix them up with the frozen brine/mysis to get the fish used to frozen supplements.

Fed mine freeze dried Mysis Shrimp. But, thats with all new fish, the trick is getting them to eat. Try soaking some of your food in Garlic, this will entice them. And don't believe all of what you read. These guys are not all that different from all the rest of the fish you buy. But they will sure eat their fill of Aiptasia. I know of a bunch of people who have and care for these fish.
