i was moving around some rocks in my tank and saw a small red worn no more then an inch long this is the first time i ave seen it befour. i have an anemone on the floor of the tank for about 6 months and the worn hasent bothered it. i have 2 hawk fish and a dragon wrass in the tank to help but are the worms smothing i shoud wory about???

Neal thats a tought one. I personally have a rule about worms in my tank and here it is: red=bad, anything else=o.k.
There are however so many species of worms that can be found in reef aquaria so that without a pic and Ninongs famous reasearch a danger assessment is impossible. I wouldn't be too worried beacuse hawk fish really dig worms and I wouldn't think he'd mess with the anemone if he hasn't by now. I hope everything works out. Keep the reef, Napoleon |

I dont think I would worry about it either the hawk or the wrasse will get to it sooner or latter. I really dont see it being any problems to your anemone either.

ive got tons or those red guys.. everyone says they eat clams. ive got two! had them for 2 years. they seem to be of little or no harm in my reef world!

Sounds like a bristle worm to me...? I only remove them when they get about 3 or 4 inches in length,otherwise I beleive they are fine in a reef tank...
