    the clean up army have arrived

    today went to the lfs with my laptop (water stats) and some water they tested it and it was better than theres ha so picked up 3 turbo snails they have been happy grazing away all day during my evening scan of the tank i have now found even more new life i a group of feather dusters how cold is that

    Kudos! I have had some success with Turbo Snails, but they are so big they have the tendency to fall over and you will have to upright them. They have a tough time doing this. Look into nassarius snails. Fifty or so for that sized tank will be fine.

    day 3 the sails are still alive yay my god dont they eat still plenty of greens though

    well day 6 my sail are going mad eating the green stuff but they cant keep up probably time for a couple more my water is spot on still will do a water change on wednesday
    after my algie has soaked up the light for 6 hour its bubbling away nicely

    had to call for reinforcement in the for of 3 more snails 3 HERMIT CRABS plopped them in and they are all chomping away nicly

    hi all my clean up boy are doing there job well how ever how many should i have the boys snails (turbo) seem very happy to clean the glass and the heater but not over keen on the live rock i have 12 of the little devil is that enough for my 250 lt tank also are there other snails that prefer hair algie
