Title says it all - is it recommended to add copepods to the refugium and tank? I've read quite a bit on this subject and have not been able to find any negatives. Thoughts?

So lets ask it this way: Why do you want to add them? Do you plan on keeping a blenny or mandarin?
Stupid people do stupid things...smart people outsmart each other.
I do plan on getting some type of Blenny, possibly Mandarin, in the future. I also have a couple small gobies right now. My reading also revealed that these organisms are a part of a healthy environment and CUC, as they eat micro-particles of food, etc.

Should I be able to see these organisms if they are currently in my tank?
I've looked long and hard and have not seen anything. However, after my tank was first cycled (over a year ago) I could actually see these very tiny dark grey flea like critters on the substrate and some of the rocks. Have not seen such critters in a long time.

I can only see them on mine when the lights are off.
