    New seahorse

Not a question. I recently bought a captive bred erectus seahorse, and only a few minutes after I acclimated him, he was eating! Not just the frozen mysis he ate at the store, but he sampled some nori, some bloodworms (those are just a treat), some small krill, and even the frozen omnivore mix my damsel eats! He only seemed to like the krill, but the krill are as large as his nose! In fact, right now he is attacking a piece so large the tail sticks out of his mouth! VERY enthusiastic eater.
I really hate it when people say "it's only a $3/$5/$1 fish/shrimp, so it's ok if it dies" TREAT ALL ANIMALS LIKE THEY COST $10,000!!!!!!http://dragcave.net/image/QnMBQ.gifhttp://dragcave.net/image/DCQDb.gifhttp://dragcave.net/image/8qT9W.gifhttp://dragcave.net/image/CP52M.gifhttp://dragcave.net/image/P7mZ4.gifplease click a link, it's nothing bad.

    Sounds like a good start.

Geez, I have always wanted a seahorse, but could never imagine being able to keep the tank at 70-75 degrees in the summer. What's your plan down there in Texas? Central air?
