well for some reason my brother decided to get and marine tank just after christmas i told him firstly to come on here and read loads and loads and second to take his time.
well on new years eve at 10.30 i had a paniced phone call from my brother it was nt to wish me happy new year as such either he had been to his lfs ( a garden centre) and picked up 3 blue damsels which were now at best gray i said have you checked your water he said but the lfs tested it and they said its fine.
i set off to his place armed with a bucket of water (heated) and my refractor meter first thing caught the fishie and popped them in the bucket.
second tested the water whick was a big mess 1,009 s/g the porr litle devils still didnt look to good so took them home thought well the only way to save them i chuch them in me reef tank and if they die will fish them out in the morning when i got home popped the in a bag and let them float around they still didnt look good.
let them out they sort of where swimming aroud on there sides went to bed
came down next day the fish where gone or so i thought at about 1500 my moon light bulbs come on still no fish looked every where nothink all day thought better test the water all was fine but no fishies today moon light comes on as normal 1630 main light fire up was in the kitchen when my little girl 3 shouts out daddy dory is in your tank came back to find 3 beutiful electric blue damsels went a picked up some flake food and fed the a small amount they went mad have noticed that one of them the biggest is making a nest
from want i can see its going to be near impossible to catch them so there here to stay
now my bro wants to know if he can have them back i dont think thats going to happen

Or a divided tank. Your only going to end up with one Damsel. They are going to kill each other, its what they do in our small environments.

well the three amigo,s are still alive they did fight at first but i have noticed that if i feed them early they settle down an go there different ways there is a lot of nets building going on at either end of the tank with one in the middle inspecting the nest but does not look to impressed and goes back to the middle
