About LinkBacksIf my phosphate levels have been at .05 consistently why hAs my nitrate been so high ( 40 )!!!!!!????????

WHats Phosphate have to do with NItrate? Nitrates come from the build up up waste in the tank, overfeeding, to much bio load. How often do you do water changes? Might need to step them up a bit, either bigger or more frequently. Also, 40 are high, but not really that bad, I would not let them get above that.
