    Dipping live rock

    Will dipping my live rock kill the Aiptasia on it?

    Dipping it in what? Throw it in boiling water. Put it in High very high solution of saltwater. Bake it in the oven. Few things you can do to it. I've boiled mine myself.

    So boiling my be the cheapest and easiest way to get rid of the Aiptasia on it? Also before I go and boil it...This same live rock has some red mushrooms on it I would like to keep. Can I just pull them off and put them on other pieces of live rock in my Display tank?

    Ouch. Yea, you need to cut them off at their base. Definately want them out. But one other thing to tyr if you have corals on it already. Get boing water going ina pot, grab a turkey baster, get some of the water and shoot it at the Aiptasia, that will also kill them. Watch you don't get that all over your good corals though.
