Thumbs up She Be Cycled, I Think!

Amonia, 0.0, Nitrates,0.00 Nitrites, 0.00 Aces across the board! Should I keep feeding the tank until the 5 green reef chromis are picked up?

I am picking up the chromis saturday. Also I am hanging the LEDs on a decorative chain from the ceiling. This gives me the most flexibility in how high and how much light penatration into the reef. I think this may be of benefit when acclimating coral later. I am going to drip acclimate most fish and the 4 I am transfering although they are hardy will give me some practice. About how many water drops through an airline tube for drip acclimation?

Looks like you and I are at about the same spot setup-wise, ShooterRick.

I did the drip method last night for our CUC, about 3-4 per second like Reefing said and it went exceptionally well. Everyone went right to work, no period where they appeared stunned, etc.

While I didn't check the link posted for acclimation, I can tell you that I did it for about 2 hours, if a frame of reference helps.

Go slow with those lights. And a word of caution. Be careful what you introduce to your tank. I didn't with my 29g but with my 90g everything got a dip into a coral Dip made by seachem.

What I mean is I paid for it by not dipping drags and corals in my 29. Hey mods, how bout getting the edit button to work with iPads.

At this time The fixture is hung 7 inches above the tank and I have the ability to move it up a decorative chain one link at a time to as high as I want. Also I have emailed the manufacturer and asked if these were put on a dimmer control will it damage the lights or the transformer in this model. If they can be dimmed the RKL looks like it may be able to do it.
