We are having a NW Reefers Picnic on Aug. 18, 2001 @ 2pm in Portland OR! We are currently looking for a good site to have it at, so please check this thread to keep updated: http://www.thereeftank.com/cgi-bin/u...c&f=1&t=004052 We will have a park site picked out before the weekend is over.
The picnic will be, bring your own main dish, beverage and a dish to share. Also bring some frags to swap! We hope to use this picnic to help start up a NW saltwater club! ![]() If you have any questions please feel free to email me @ reef@pacifier.com Scott |

Ok folks! Here's the scoop:
Saturday, August 18th, 2:00 PM Portland Oregon St. Johns Area/Neighborhood Pier Park, Site "C" (on N. Seneca St. at approximately N. Weyerhauser St.) You'll find it on Map Quest if you enter in the two streets and the zip code 97203. I-5 Northbound, take the Lombard West exit; follow N. Lombard St. to past "downtown" St. Johns neighborhood to N. Weyerhauser St.; take a right. I-5 Southbound, take the Interstate-Delta Park exit, stay straight south on N. Denver St. to N. Lombard St, take a right. Follow Lombard to Weyerhauser, take a right. Bring your own beverage, food to BBQ and a dish/chips/fruit/whatever to share, we'll provide the grill, condiments, and dessert. Bring your family; there's a nice playground and an outdoor pool (admissions is $2.50 adults/$1.50 for kids.) And most important of all let's talk reefs and fish! Bring pics of your tanks, bring your ideas, bring frags to trade or share. In fact, if you'd like to post to this thread http://www.thereeftank.com/cgi-bin/u...c&f=1&t=004182 about what you have to trade and what you are looking for that would be great. |

We're going to have a blast! Looks like we're going to have a bigger turn out than last year. Can't wait to put some names to faces and meet some new reefing buddies!

Have a great time guys. My wife and I will be having about 25 reefers from the Kansas and Missouri area over tomorrow for a BBQ, frag exchange, and a great time. We are really excited about it.
