condylactis anenonme (sp?)
I have a condylactis, when i got it, it was white with purple tips. this was about 4 months ago. now its turned brown with purple tips. anyone know why? can i get the white back? thanks.

That means it is LIVING. That is a good thing.
When it was white, the zooxanthellae algae in it was dieing. I have even heard of some wholesalers keeping them in the dark just so they lighten up so they can sell them as white or dye them to another color.

Yes, be happy your anemone is turning brown. That is the color it should be, not white. You should be proud that you pulled it out of the direction it was heading - dead.

going forward, note that your condy will change forms from time to time as well as move around - watch out to not let it get close to any corals or it'll sting em.
