Is Maracyn ok with live rock?

I just bought a clarkii clown 3 days ago and I noticed that he has a white sore on his left side. While he is eating fine, he seems to be hiding in corners and swimming very fast. I bought a box of Maracyn but before I put it in I want to make sure it is ok to use in systems with live rock. Would I be better using Maroxy or should I stick with this? Thanks for your help!!

most likely you maracyn has copper that will eternally kill any live stuff on your rock. If you ever want or have corals - don't use it;try feeding w/koylic garlic;found in most health / vitamin stores
