    that is the best feeling. i took home a brown acro 2 weeks ago. its slowly turning baby blue.. i love it.

    Thanks guys ! I have had it a little over a month now. I'm pretty happy it's my first real sps. I have this under 2 250 watt 6500k with 2 110 vho for actinic. This is in a 125 about half way up in the tank. Here is a pic from today.

    DD, this is what keeping sps corals is all about. You find a nice non-specific colored acropora take it home and put in under good lighting, good water quality and look what they will do for you. That is a nice acropora, although I'm not sure it's a true acropora nana. I just got an acropora nana from Steve Tyree and a true nana will be in a tightly clumped or branched growth form. Check out Veron's book Corals Of The World.
